While 2011 was superb, many devout BMW drivers want to know what's in store for the luxury brand for 2012. BMW of Sioux Falls, is happy to tell you - they plan on success.

Given expert forecasts put overall auto industry growth at four percent for 2012 and eight percent for the premium segment, BMW is in prime position to thrive, especially within the markets of Latin America (i.e., Brazil), China and India. BMW may even expand in Brazil after a thorough analysis is performed on opportunities in the marketplace there.

Right here in the US, of course, BMW sees significant opportunity, while their home country, Germany, might not see as robust of a trajectory in months ahead, BMW will continue to satisfy and develop their consumer base in Europe as well.

Another question that might be on your mind about the road ahead - what about BMW's carbon fiber initiatives? As you might remember, 2011 saw BMW ally with SLG Group to build a carbon fiber manufacturing plant in Washington state. BMW also gained a 15.7-percent stake in the company to support research and development for more expansive integration of carbon fiber into new BMW models moving forward. At this time, no other future plans have been made for 2012.
