Comprised of some favorites from the BMW 3 Series and some new models as well, the new BMW 4 Series will most likely feature an upmarket design with lustrous lines and a similar power train to other new new BMW models in the 3 Series.
BMW 4 Series Design Overview
Binders of "spy shots" and preview images from BMW suggest the new models will feature exaggerated lines that reinforce the series' sporty personality. The 4 Series coupe and convertible represent especially wide departures from their 3 Series relatives, according to our experts who have viewed the photos.
BMW 4 Series Power Train
No major changes are slated in terms of the new vehicles' power plants. As this point, it looks as though the BMW 4 Series will include a four-cylinder engine available in gasoline or diesel configurations. Obviously, a turbocharged 3.0-litre version will also be offered for the more adventurous driver. The M performance trim will most likely be available with the new badge as well.
