As you may have probably heard, the BMW M5 police mobile is merely a concept but will be followed with many real-life BMW law enforcement autos soon. These police models are scheduled to debut at the General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference in Leipzig quite soon and we at BMW of Sioux Falls will keep you updated on all the details.

For more of an insight on these expected model, the BMW Welt Museum at the company's headquarters in Munich, Germany, lays a special BMW M5 all suited in law enforcement garb. As with most other BMW police car concepts, the crime-fighting M5 is said to host iDrive-controlled warning lights, LED identification lights, a blacked-out grille, and of course, wailing sirens straight from the factory. The auto is also fitted in the traditional "Polizei" livery.

If you are not familiar with the BMW M5, the high-performance auto boasts a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 with 560 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque as output. This powertrain provides for a top speed of nearly 200 mph as well as a sprint time of zero-to-60 mph in about 4.4 seconds. Yep, Germany highway speeders really don't stand a chance of out-driving this powerful police machine. Or at least they won't if the M5 model makes it to production...
