The long, long, long (did we mention it was long?) wait is over! That's right, the innovative BMW i3 has officially made its debut. And, though the model won't actually be for sale in the U.S. market until Q2 of 2014, we at BMW of Sioux Falls are still quite excited to get the opportunity to learn more about the model and what it has to offer. We're also quite thrilled to be able to share the information with you, our readers, right here on our BMW blog.

So, let's get to it, shall we?

Starting with its construction, the all-new BMW i3 is made from next-generation materials (such as 100 percent aluminum, lithium-ion for the battery, etc.), which perfectly complement its futuristic design. It runs off an all-electric powertrain, but doesn't skimp on the usual luxury, sophistication and fun-to-drive appeal associated with the BMW brand. In other words, it's still an Ultimate Driving Machine like the rest of the new BMW lineup, except in a more eco-friendly, zero-emissions producing way.

Inside, the BMW i3 features renewable sources and recycled materials of high-quality. However, just like with its drivetrain and other elements, the premium feel of the interior will be akin to that of other new BMW models like the 5 Series sedan.

As we mentioned, above, the BMW i3 will not be available for sale in the U.S., or consequently, Sioux Falls, SD, until several months from now. However, if you'd like information, ahead of time, or the details on any of the new BMW models we have available, currently, please feel free to visit BMW of Sioux Falls, anytime.
