It sounds too good to be true, but there is such a thing as free BMW tire replacement. It's BMW's new Road Hazard Tire Coverage. Here's our BMW of Sioux Falls team's quick rundown of the program and its benefits.

BMW Road Hazard Tire Coverage

BMW Road Hazard Tire Coverage offers tire replacement up to $600. The program covers tires that fail as a result of punctures or bruising from nails, glass and potholes on city- and state-supervised roads. To get new tires, you have to bring the failed tires to a BMW Tire center or your dealership. After inspection, verification and submission of a claim, you receive brand new BMW-approved tires.

Eligible Tire Types

The BMW Road Hazard Tire Coverage includes replacement of several tire types:

  • Original alternative equipment tires (OEA)
  • Winter tires (WIN) purchased after 2/1/2018
  • Wheel packages (WPK, tires only) purchased after 4/1/2020
  • Secondary plus tires (SEP)
  • Original equipment manufacturer's tires (OEM)

When you present your failed tires at the BMW Tire Center or at the BMW dealership, you must have your original invoice and your BMW's Vehicle Identification Number.
